Teen Health

Often, teenagers think their parents don't know anything. But good parents know that their teens need to see the doctor every year. The doctor will check your teenager's blood pressure, weight, eyes, ears and teeth. Children get most of their shots when they are young, but teens may need booster, or follow-up, shots.

The doctor may help your teen deal with other health issues, too. The doctor can also explain why smoking, drinking, drugs and other risky behaviors are bad.

When it comes to your teenager's health, you and the doctor know best.
